Day Trading Success Using Price Action
A core principle of day trading should be the ability to analyze market conditions and make sense of price dynamics that occur on a “naked” chart in real-time. Price-based trading is the manner in which professional on the floor trade today; without the use of indicators or other technical tools. Many online traders have grown accustomed to relying on indicators instead of focusing on price alone. Far too often, these indicators need constant optimization to ensure relevancy for the market being traded. Additionally, indicators lag behind price. Price action is the truest connection that a trader can have to the market, and therefore, should be the sole factor in determining how to day trade.
Price action trading is timeless. Once a trader is equipped with the knowledge to take on the markets, he or she can instantly recognize setups that will lead to consistent profits. Adversely, indicators may have a shelf life – a time when the indicator was most effective may have passed. Price action is always relevant, as it trades on the overall behavior of price, not a single strategy used by oscillators, Bollinger Bands, or other highly mechanical approaches. Additionally, price action works for a broad spectrum of market types. Price action has been known to be an effective day trading strategy for nearly all futures, currencies, indices, Forex and even stocks.
Blackbox strategies, indicators and detailed technical analysis all have one fatal flaw. The flaw is that these approaches are far too specific to work on a day to day basis. Markets are inherently unpredictable. A greater reliance on a mathematical formula equates to a stricter the approach. Strict approaches may produce very few trades on a daily basis. Some days may have zero trades. When a trader cannot make profit on a day to day basis, he or she is likely to switch markets. Such overly acute approaches require the reconfiguration of indicators or the entire method. For example, if an E-Mini trader’s indicator cannot identify any profitable setups, the trader is likely to move to another market, say the Euro. This trader may not be aware that the indicator is not meant to work for the Euro, or if he or she is, if the indicator requires optimization to work for this new market. Blackbox strategies are a hassle and may have catastrophic results if the trader decides to experiment.
On the contrary, price action trading is pure market observation and interaction. Using objective, black and white price action strategies, a trader may place trades by understanding the market. Since price action is based on an underlying understanding of how markets work, price action traders are better suited for anticipating future market activity. Day Trade to Win is a day trading education company that focuses exclusively on teaching traders how to day trade price action using objective rules.

Traders who rely on software to dictate the direction of price often share a “more is better” mentality. Traders who use indicators share this misconception by filling charts with indicators, thus cluttering up price display. Most indicators do not work harmoniously with one another. More than likely, they will produce conflicting signals, thereby confusing the trader.
Price is the defining ingredient that all traders are required to observe, regardless of preferred trading method. Day Trade to Win uses a razor-like approach, cutting through unnecessary chart data and getting to the point. Each day trading course is meant to work in conjunction with the others; providing an overall strategy to filter trades and take profit consistently.
When trading, recognizing time of day and how price is moving is highly important. The E-Mini for example, traders differently during from 9:30 a.m. – noon then it does in the afternoon and evening sessions. Day trading strategies that recognize these differences are leaps and bounds ahead of indicators and automated strategy. The open outcry session often defines the overall trend for the day, as major financial institutions push and pull the market during these hours. Taking this behavior into account allows price action traders to get a better idea of how price will plot during the rest of the day. Day Trade to Win shows traders how to split up the day into recognizable patterns and how to best take advantage of these sessions.
Learning to trade the market with price action strategies allows traders to place traders based on their own knowledge and understanding instead of relying on a third-party to call the shots. Confidence is an important part of a trader’s psychology, as too much can create overspending and too little can cause traders to miss out on profits. Price action trading demystifies the markets, proving gut instincts do not work. Trading on what is seen rather than what a source is advising is refreshing.
Price action trading requires a fast, real-time data feed, an effective strategy and software that can allow a trader to apply that strategy. Traders who learn how to trade price properly from Day Trade to Win are armed with strategies that work for any day trading platform. While John Paul’s day trading courses usually depict NinjaTrader, price action can be used with any software: eSignal, thinkorswim, TradeStation, MetaStock, MetaTrader, and others. A requirement for any price action trader is a fast, live data feed. Within the last five years, the price of connecting to data feeds like Kinetick, Zen-Fire, etc. is dropped, making fast connections much more accessible. Software platforms like NinjaTrader allow traders to use a variety of data feeds, based entirely on the user’s preference.
If you would like to know more about setting up NinjaTrader and learning how to trade markets like the E-Mini profitably, Day Trade to Win offers many free webinar events. In addition, their list of day trading courses proves to be a valuable resource for beginners and advanced traders alike. Day Trade to Win’s Private Mentorship Program has eight weeks of training where traders are taught every price action method. Many DTTW testimonial videos and reviews have been released showing traders who have changed their lives and accounts for the better.

Day Trading – Everyone Learns Differently
A quick Google search for day trading courses produces a wide variety of results. Each website has its own take on what works, offering one or more of the following solutions:
An indicator – usually proprietary software that automates a day trading technique or method on one’s charting software.
A course in the form of written instruction, either digital or a mailed hard copy
Videos and other multimedia content including audio tapes, chart images and access to members-only content
Live training, usually group based in a trading room or other interactive setting
Most of the day trading sites produced in the top search results offer only one of these solutions, forcing traders to purchase additional products to obtain a full understanding. Depending on the type of learner a trader is, a trader is very likely to spend thousands of dollars and end up with an incomplete trading system with no guarantee of it actually working. Understandably, day trading is without guarantees, but is of my own opinion that day trading companies should back up their claims with real testimonials of actual customers. Far too often, generic written testimonials or amateur, overly charismatic actors sway opinion instead of hearing true commentary.
I must digress to discuss my experiences with other trading systems. When I first began my trading career, I purchased a scalping indicator system from a popular vendor. The software was said to be over 80% accurate and included a manual. Truth be told, the software performed decently; for a while. However, the E-Mini S&P market began to perform poorly in the last quarter of 2010 and the scalping system went down the tubes along with it. From this experience, I learned that I needed to learn a method that worked with multiple markets and wasn’t software-specific.
At this point, I decided that an educational course would be my best solution. I wanted something that would fulfill my desire for consistent daily profits without the long term investing associated with trading stocks. I wanted to be in and out the same day; not holding trades for multiple days on end, subject to the world’s news events. A few of the academies I found offered educational sessions to these points, however, living in a remote part of the United States prevented me from attending this type of classroom-based training. I needed something that was taught on a personal level, one-on-one where I could directly communicate to the instructor online. Also, I required a method that worked with all markets and offered more than just software.

After some thorough research, I eventually came across Day Trade to Win’s Private Mentorship program. I first learned of the Private Mentorship course through the testimonial videos on YouTube and the eminieducation.com website. The daytradetowin YouTube channel has around five video testimonials from students who have participated in the course. From what I could tell, the experiences provided by the traders were genuine. They were taught personally by the founder of Day Trade To Win, John Paul. This prompted me to contact John directly to find out more about what he teaches.
I found John to by very personable, explaining in detail what is offered in the course. He said that his former students are still able to contact him even after their training to discuss recent trades. He also mentioned that the Private Mentorship course consists of eight weeks of training, is taught live (he shares his screen / chart) a couple times each week, includes all materials and software with lifetime licenses, and offers 11 methods of trading for nearly every market.
After searching for a couple days, I was elated after hearing that news. John mentioned the cost of the course, and although it was a considerable investment, I ultimately decided it was worth the cost considering the amount of money I had already lost trading (and would be subject to lose if I had continued to trade using a single technique).
My education started the following week and continued for eight weeks, twice a week. Each week, we built upon and reviewed the methods taught in the previous week. There was never a time where I felt unable to ask a question; John encouraged stopping him if there was something I did not understand. The material is all based on price action; a term I was rather unfamiliar with before the training began. Price action can be loosely defined as the real-time interpretation of a market’s price and using it to trade. Each of the price action methods worked in conjunction with one another. In all, John teaches a coherent system of trading to use with any market; providing strategies to work with the most evasive market behavior.
One thing I want to make clear – John Paul did not ask me to write this experience report; I did it out of my appreciation for the quality of the education he has provided me and also because of the success I’ve had trading John’s price action techniques. I also do not want fellow traders to stumble around spending unnecessary money on incomplete trading systems. I encourage all traders, regardless of experience, to contact <a rel=”nofollow” onclick=”javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackPageview', '/outgoing/article_exit_link/4422281']);” href=”http://www.daytradetowin.com”>Day Trade to Win to find out more about the solutions they offer, including the Private Mentorship program.

Forex Trading Tips – Finding The Right Day Trading Course To Suit You!
There is a big difference between what investors do and what day traders do in the stock market. For instance an investor will study the companies that they put their money into and they may even hold onto their stocks for years at a time and hope that the prices will rise in value so they can get a big payoff. On the other hand the day trader will sit in front of their computers all day and do nothing but place stock orders all day. They will only hold onto their stocks for just hours as compared to years and then hope to gain profits over the short term.
If this is something that you are considering doing, it might be a good idea to evaluate your own personal psychology before you decide to take any kind of day trader courses. This is a very high stress type of position, can be very expensive and it is definitely a full time job. You need to have a lot of self-discipline and you must stick with it if you want to succeed.
Make sure that you do some good research about the different courses that you might be considering taking. Make sure that the instructors don’t profit off of any kind of day trading themselves because they may just try to work you and end up just trying to make money off of you by selling you books or trading software that you really aren’t interested in.

There are a ton of different online courses that you can take through a variety of different online schools. However, be very careful choosing the school, there are many out there that are not regulated and this could get you into trouble as well when it comes to money. You could end up spending far more than you would if you took courses from a school that is regulated.
You might also consider enrolling at a college somewhere that you can get on site schooling instead of the Internet. Although this would be more expensive you will probably get a more honest and more comprehensive type of training for the extra cost.
A community college might be a good place to check with and see what kind of classes they might offer on their schedules that you might be able to benefit from. Sometimes they may offer seminars that focus on day trading that might cost a lot less than any other type of commercial courses you could take.
Make sure that no matter what kind of course that you invest your time and money in is one that offers very good comprehensive training that covers all the different aspects of day trading. A really good training course should include instruction on currency trading or Forex trading, selling borrowed stock or what is called short selling, playing with the futures market as well as the securities market.
Note: Remember even though there are those who do make some really good money day trading, this is really risky and you can end up suffering from extremely devastating financial losses.

Cartersville, GA (Vocus) October 26, 2010
Internationally recognized DayTradingCourse.com, which provides world class individual training and support, is pleased to announce the addition of stocks and ETFs to their curriculum.
Amy Figueras, Student Support, commented, “Emini day traders wanting to diversify their portfolios will be pleased to know that the DayTradingCourse, known for its One-on-One training style and pattern recognition techniques, has expanded this same strategy to include stocks and ETFs.”
DayTradingCourse.com began teaching daytraders how to trade at the end of 1994, using the open-outcry pit traded S&P 500 Futures, which first appeared in 1982.
Years later, the CME Emini S&P 500 Futures replaced the original open outcry pit traded S&P futures contract as the preferred daytrading product.
DayTradingCourse.com also picked up the hot and new other emini futures contracts which followed: the Emini NASDAQ 100 Futures, the Emini Russell 2000 Futures, and the Mini Dow Futures.
Later, DayTradingCourse.com expanded its list of traded products to include Forex Currencies and CME Currency Futures in mid 2010.
The range of daytraders that DaytradingCourse.com has taught around the globe, brings with them a wide variety of market interests and requests.
Ms. Figueras advised, “The addition of stocks and ETFs to our curriculum is a direct response to our valued students’ desire to diversify. The very same pattern recognition techniques learned in the eMinis Day Trading Course are applicable to any market you can chart.? Ms. Figueras, continued, ?With a little tweaking for stocks and ETFs, this is a great offering for our students.”
Daytrading stocks and daytrading ETFs, being a natural progression, were added in late 2010.

New Options Trading Video Training Course Rising in Popularity Due to its Simplistic Approach to Teaching Stock Options Trading

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 18, 2011
OptionBoost is an option trading video training course for investors interested in learning how to actively trade stock options. The material is presented in an easy-to-follow format and allows the participant to pose questions to the instructor at any time during their training to clarify the concepts discussed.
?The OptionBoost option trading video course was designed for the average investor, helping to bridge the gap between complex stock option strategies and the investor who is interested in learning options, yet is a bit apprehensive due to the overwhelming amount of fragmented information on option trading scattered across the internet,? stated Derek Devore, Creator of the options training course.
?I am excited to finally offer this course to assist the beginning investor in transitioning into another facet of investing which is normally viewed as too complex to understand and to guide them in implementing these strategies in their day-to-day trading regimen.?
Stock option trading has traditionally been viewed as being accessible only to the sophisticated investor or hedge fund. Now, with the progression of technology and the competition between online brokerage firms, the average investor has much more accessibility to the a new frontier of investing and managing portfolio risk with stock options – an area of investing which was once viewed as only being open to the elite few.
Unlike traditional stock investing, option trading provides the investor with many additional advantages:
*Flexible risk-management using option ?spreads? instead of only buying/selling individual stock.
*Better control of portfolio hedging; protecting a portfolio from excessive draw-downs during a volatile market move.
*The ability to profit from sideways movement in the market by capturing ?Theta? or time decay.
OptionBoost starts by teaching the investor the fundamental building blocks of option trading, then progressively moves forward on to using these concepts in real-world examples. Students of the course tend to show an accelerated sense of confidence by the third lesson (there are five lessons in total, each lesson is two hours in length).
