Can anyone tell me what is the best system specification
on a notebook computer used for day-trading? Thanks.

It has to be able to run the trading software provided by your broker. You need to ask them.

Various brokers provide with different packages for dealing which may require different specifications. You need to consult your broker for the perfect specifications.

Typically, minimum specification is
512MB RAM, 128kbps internet connection, Microsoft office suite for keeping records.
